Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to OJS Telekontran undergo a structured peer-review process designed to ensure academic quality and integrity.

  1. Pre-Review (Editorial and Technical Assessment)
Each submitted manuscript is first evaluated by two (2) pre-reviewers appointed by the editorial board.
    This pre-review stage focuses on:

    • Scope and relevance to the journal

    • Completeness of submission

    • Formatting and template compliance

    • Plagiarism and ethical screening
Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum requirements are returned to authors or rejected at this stage.

  2. Substantive Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the pre-review stage are forwarded to at least one (1) subject-matter reviewer for in-depth scientific evaluation, including originality, methodological rigor, technical quality, and contribution to the field.

  3. Double-Blind Review
Both the pre-review and substantive review processes are conducted using a double-blind review system, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.

  4. Reviewer Recommendation
The substantive reviewer provides a recommendation: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject, along with constructive feedback.

  5. Editorial Decision
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewer’s report and editorial considerations.

  6. Revision and Final Decision
Authors revise the manuscript according to the reviewer and editor comments. Revised manuscripts may undergo further evaluation before final acceptance.
