Copyright of articles published in the Jurnal Desain dan Arsitektur (DESA) remains with the Author(s). Authors retain the moral rights to their work, including the right to be acknowledged as the creator.

LICENSE
All articles published in DESA are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. Under this license, anyone is permitted to access, copy, distribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the Author(s) and the original publication source, DESA. For commercial use, written permission must be obtained from the copyright holder (the Author(s)).

LICENSE TO PUBLISH
By submitting a manuscript and upon its acceptance for publication, the Author(s) grant DESA a non-exclusive, worldwide, and royalty-free license to:

1. publish, reproduce, distribute, and communicate the article in any form (online and/or print);
2. perform copyediting and layout editing without altering the scientific substance;
3. deposit and/or allow indexers, archivists, and aggregators (e.g., scholarly indexes and repositories) to store and display the metadata and the article in accordance with the license terms.

THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL
If the article contains images, tables, or other copyrighted materials owned by third parties, the Author(s) are responsible for obtaining the necessary written permissions and for providing proper attribution.

SELF-ARCHIVING
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit and share versions of their articles (preprint/accepted manuscript/published version) in institutional repositories or on personal websites, provided that the official citation, DOI, and a link to the article page in DESA are included.
