SYARIKAT KORPORAT ICT DAN PERLAKSANAAN TANGGUGJAWAB SOSIAL KORPORAT: KLASIFIKASI, RASIONALITI DAN PENERAPAN PRINSIP ISLAM

Abstract

Perlaksanaan tanggungjawab sosial korporat merupakan isu global yang berkai-tan rapat dengan syarikat perniagaan termasuklah syarikat korporat ICT. Secara prinsipnya, perlaksaan tanggungjawab sosial korporat merupakan interprestasi kepada kebertanggungjawaban syarikat terhadap pihak berkepentingan dalam industri yang mana memberikan sumbangan besar kepada kejayaan dan surviv-al perniagaan pada masa lepas, kini dan masa hadapan. Jadi, kertas kerja ini membincangkan teori dan berkaitan tanggungjawab sosial korporat sebagai teras kefahaman. Kemudian, klasifikasi dan rasionaliti perlaksanaan tanggung-jawab sosial korporat dibincangkan bagi memperkukuhkan kefahaman mengenai tanggungjawab sosial korporat dalam konteks syarikat korporat ICT. Prinsip Islam pula diutarakan bagi menyokong perlaksanaan tanggungjawab sosial korporat lantaran kegagalan sistem ekonomi barat sedia ada dalam me-nangani isu ini. Akhir sekali, cadangan-cadangan dikemukakan sebagai mekanisme bagi mempertingkatkan perlaksaan tanggungjawab sosial korporat di kalangan syarikat ICT.
