Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit a manuscript must pay attention to the points below. If the manuscript does not meet the requirements listed, it is possible that the manuscript will be returned.
1. Article
Please prepare your article in Indonesian. Be consistent in spelling and usage throughout the article and avoid mixing the two. Before submitting an article, it is highly recommended to double-check the article. This will shorten the processing time of your article submission. Jurnal Konstruksi accepts online article submissions through Open Journal Systems (OJS). The submitted manuscript has been written using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) with the Crane Journal Manuscript Template.
2. Article Format
Before submission please ensure that your paper is prepared using the Crane Journal Template. This will shorten the publication process. Acceptance or rejection notification will be sent to the author after the decision of the editorial board. Submissions must be accompanied by a front page showing the author's name and address for correspondence (including email), and acknowledgements (if there are external contributions). The title should be placed on the first page of the article to facilitate the peer-review process. Therefore, all information that reveals the identity of the author will be considered before the article is sent to the review board.
3. Article Type
Four types of articles can be submitted:
- Original research
- Survey / review articles, providing a comprehensive review of a scientific topic.
- Short papers: Short and complete articles about ongoing research.
- Technical Notes (Scientific studies, Surveys, etc.)
4. Copyright
Submission of an article implies: that the work described has not been previously published (except in abstract form or as part of a published lecture, or thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Copyright for articles and figures published in this journal is reserved. When an article is accepted for publication, the author agrees to automatically transfer copyright to the publisher.
5. Review Process
All articles will be reviewed by the editor team and editorial board or qualified external reviewers. Decisions regarding acceptance and rejection of articles will be communicated to the author as soon as possible.
6. Proofs and Reprints
The electronic proof will be sent (as an email attachment) to the author as a PDF file. The online page proof is the final version of the article. With the exception of typographical errors or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made to the article at the proof stage, since Crane Journal publishes articles online to appeal to a wide audience, authors will have free electronic access to the full text (in HTML and PDF) of the article. Authors are free to download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their article.
