JURISMA: Jurnal Riset Bisnis dan Manajemen was born in 2012. In the early years of publication, the Journal was an information medium for an internal discussion forum of the academic community in the Management Department, Faculty of Economics of Universitas Komputer Indonesia.

The first period or pioneering period of the journal. During this period, the journal had printed ISSN (2086-0455) with the journal name JURNAL RISET BISNIS & MANAJEMEN, managed by the Economic Faculty of Universitas Komputer Indonesia.

The second period or the development period of the journal. In this period the Online ISSN was obtained (2338-929X) and the journal name was changed to JURISMA: Jurnal Riset Bisnis & Manajemen, managed by the Economic Faculty of Universitas Komputer Indonesia. During this period the color of the journal cover was varied.

   

The third period or period of strengthening of the journal is from 2017 until now, marked by the specific transformation of the design cover and the dimension of the journal from B5 (18,2 cm x 15,7 cm) to A4 (21,0 cm x 29,7 cm) as well as the new journal logo. it is also during this period the journal is published to the Online Journal System of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (OJS UNIKOM) with OJS web Address: https://ojs.unikom.ac.id/index.php/jurisma. The journal name also slightly changed into JURISMA: Jurnal Riset Bisnis dan Manajemen.
