Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

GENERAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES

  1. The article is an original work of the author and the team based on real research results have not and will not be published in any media.
  2. The article, is free from plagiarism including self-plagiarism (The article was reviewed independently by the application of anti-plagiarism)
  3. The article contains research related to library and information science (see focus and scope).
  4. The article uses English or Bahasa Indonesia (during submissions), consisting of 5.000-8.000 words, Arial 12pt., spacing 1, A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 1.5 cm for inside margin and 1.5 cm for the top, bottom, and outside margin.
  5. The title contains a maximum of 14 words, without abbreviations, 14pt. Arial, Sentence case, Bold, center, space 1, without subtitles and punctuation.
  6. The names of all authors are written in complete without abbreviation, without a title, 12pt. Arial, Capital Each Word, Bold, center, space 1
  7. The name of the institution of each author listed only the names of colleges or corporate institutions. Example: Universitas Komputer Indonesia or PT. Telkom Indonesia.
  8. The affiliation address of all authors consisting of Institution(s), address, city, postal code, country, and email of each author 10pt. Arial, Capital Each Word, center, space 1
  9. Abstract, made in essay form consists of an introduction, purpose, method, and conclusion, written in 1 (one) paragraph, 10pt Arial, space 1, paragraph justify, 100-250 words, no numbering, created in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  10. Keywords consist of five words/phrases separated by the semicolon (;).
  11. The manuscript consists of 5.000-8.000 words.
  12. Footnote usage is not allowed, authors should write it in body notes.
  13. Quotations of more than 3 lines should be written an indirect quotation style (1 spacing with margin indented).
  14. Every paragraph should use a tab / 7 beats, space 1.15, justify, 11,5pt Arial.
  15. The manuscripts only consist of ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, and REFERENCE.

ABSTRACT should consist of:

  1. Purpose of research
  2. Research methodology
  3. Research result
  4. Research impact
  5. Five Keywords

INTRODUCTION should consist of:

  1. It must contain a general background and a literature review (state of the art) as the basis of the brand new research question, statements of the brand new scientific article, main research problems, and the hypothesis.
  2. background problem with supporting data must be attached, 
  3. the relevant theoretical foundation/concept.

METHODS should consist of:

  1. The type of research, (each citation must be attached), 
  2. Subject and object, 
  3. Data collection techniques, 
  4. Data analysis techniques, 
  5. The location and time of the research.

RESULTS and DISCUSSION should contain:

  1. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data. 
  2. Results should contain at least one table or one picture and a maximum of 6.
  3. The sources should be written on the left bottom of the table.
  4. The title of the table is placed above the table, in sentence case, left a margin, 12pt. and space 1.
  5. Tables created with a vertical line.
  6. Pictures could be graphics, diagrams, schematics, photos. The title, source, and picture should be grouped, so it will not rupture when the layout is created.
  7. The title of the image should be placed below the image, sentence case, center margin, 10pt., space 1, and the source listed at the bottom of the image.

CONCLUSION 

It contains the research findings. It should answer research goals and give applicative recommendations. Moreover, it must be written in a paragraph without numbering.

REFERENCES

Follows the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition http://www.apastyle.org. References consist of primary sources (scientific journals, research reports, or conference proceedings, and the least number is 80% of all the references) that were published in the last ten years. Each article should have at least ten references.

 

THE ONLINE SUBMISSION MANUSCRIPT GUIDELINES

The manuscript text must be submitted by one of two systems ( the submitted second procedure is preferable):

  1. The document is submitted by the Online Submission System in the JURISMA : Jurnal Riset Bisnis & Manajemen portal HERE.
  2. Firstly, the author should register as either an author or reviewer (checking role as author or reviewer) in the â€œRegister” or HERE.
  3. After the registration step is completed, log in as an author, and click on New Submission”. The article submission stage consists of five stages, such as:(1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
  4. In the “Start” column, choose the Journal Section (Full Article), and check all the checklists.
  5. In the “Upload Submission” Column, upload the manuscript files in the MSWord format in this column.
  6. In the “Enter Metadata” columns, fill in with all the author data and affiliation. Including the Journal Title, Abstract, and Indexing Keywords.
  7. In the “Upload Supplementary Files” columns, the author is allowed to upload supplementary files, the statement letter, or anything else.
  8. In the “Confirmation” columns, if the data you entered is all correct already, then click “Finish Submission
