Article Withdrawal or Cancellation Policy

Jurnal Visualita: Jurnal Desain Komunikasi Visual has a strict policy regarding the withdrawal or cancellation of articles that have been submitted and are in the process/stage/status of "review", "copyediting", "production", and/or "publication". This is implemented as a form of protection for the integrity of the editorial process that we run.

Authors who withdraw or cancel articles during the review process until publication will be charged an administration fee of IDR 1,000,000.00 (one million rupiah). This policy is based on the consideration that such actions reflect a lack of respect for the time and resources that have been allocated by the editor and reviewer team.

For cases of article withdrawal because the manuscript has been accepted in another journal, the author will be charged a fee of IDR 1,500,000.00 (one million five hundred thousand rupiah) per manuscript.

Cancellation or withdrawal of articles can only be done after the fee has been paid to the journal manager. Furthermore, the author must contact the Editor in Chief via a withdrawal statement for the official cancellation verification process via email: jurnalvisualita@email.unikom.ac.id

If the author is unwilling to pay the fee, the author and their affiliates will be prohibited from submitting and publishing articles in Jurnal Visualita in the future.

In addition, authors who are proven to have committed duplicate publication will be reported to the ANJANI (Arjuna Jurnal Indonesia) system and will be blacklisted by Jurnal Visualita.

We appreciate the commitment and academic ethics of the authors and hope that this policy can encourage a more responsible publication process.
