Author Guidelines

The following are guidelines for writing articles in the @is The Best : Accounting Information Systems and Information Technology Business Enterprise-Journal that is expected to be a reference for writers:

  1. Articles written for @is The Best : Accounting Information Systems and Information Technology Business Enterprise Journal include the results of scientific research from a combination of various scientific disciplines, namely: Accounting Information Systems, Computerized Accounting, Business Information Technology, Financial Information Systems, Tax Information Systems, Accounting Examination Information Systems, IT Business Enterprise and Communication Information Technology for various disciplines related to Computerized accounting.
  2. The article sent has never been published and is not being sent to other journals.
  3. Articles written in English, using Garamond font 12pt font size, A4 paper size (210 x 279 mm), 2.5 cm margin (right, left, and bottom), and 3 cm top margin with line density 1 space.
  4. The substance of the article contains 15 A4 pages including abstracts, pictures, graphs/tables, and references.
  5. All figures and tables must be numbered (Example: Figure 1. Accounting Information System Flowchart).
  6. Plagiarism index of texts sent no more than 20%.
  7. Manuscripts are sent in Word document format with no greater than 5MB and sent via online Submission at: https://ojs.unikom.ac.id/index.php/aisthebest.
  8. Manuscript entry into the editorial will go through a double blind-review process by Bestari partners and the decision "accepted" is determined from the results of the reviewer and Manager Editor. The manuscript that is published will be edited again by the editor without changing the substance.
  9. Systematics discussion in the article consists of at least the following sections: The title of the article in English is no more than 12 words including conjunctions with 14pt Bold font size with a space of 1 space. The name of the author of the article is listed without an academic degree (12pt Bold), accompanied by the name of the institution, e-mail of the author (10pt, a distance of 1 space), placed under the article title. If manuscripts written by more than one person are sorted by the amount of contribution to the research, the e-mails included are only the e-mails of the main authors (correspondence).
  10. When compiling articles in a journal, we must cite at least 1 article that has been published in a previous publication and at least 1 article from a Scopus indexed journal.
  11. The author grants the open journal system the right to first publish with the work licensed simultaneously under the CC-BY-SA or Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License which allows others to share the work with acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  12. Make an author's statement and upload it together with the article.

Systematics of writing research articles:

  1. The identity of papers requires; title, full name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, email, and abstract (200-250 words in one paragraph, at least including purpose, method, results of research, conclusion, impact), and keywords (3-5 words).
  2. The paper's research consists of Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
  3. Introduction: the introductory section for research results articles contains background, research context, results of literature review/literature study, and research objectives. All introductory sections are presented in an integrated manner in the form of paragraphs.
  4. Method: this section contains an explanation in the form of paragraphs containing the research design, data sources, selection methods, data collection techniques, data analysis, measurement and operational definitions of variables, and system models.
  5. Results and Discussion: Results and Discussion contain in full: 1) Descriptions of findings or findings in research that answer hypotheses or research objectives do not just display pictures or tables without explanation; 2) Contains a scientific study of the findings, compares them with the results of other studies, explains the relevance with the results of other studies or state of the art; 3) Explain the Gap Analysis of research or measurement to find out the gap (gap) between the performance of a variable with the expectations or goals for that variable; 4) Describe clearly the statement of research novelty and uniqueness compared to other articles and the importance of research.
  6. Conclusion: The conclusion contains the main results clearly and concisely and by the objectives; the prospects or benefits are clear; the importance of research for the advancement of science and solving national problems may contain open problems or future work (Suggestions); not presented in the form of item per item but presented narratively in 1 paragraph.
  7. References: The bibliography is compiled according to the IEEE and described in order as a reference from the citation. Citation using Mendeley's citation app: https://www.mendeley.com/download-desktop-new/. The references used are the last 5 years for references to Information Systems or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the last 10 years for references other than that. the minimum number of citations is 15 citations. At least 80% sourced from primary references: scientific articles from international journals and national journals, proceedings, dissertations/thesis/thesis, and laws and 20% may be from other sources.
