Publication Ethics

Publication ethics adapted by the SPICES (Social and Political) Journal refers to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Regulation of LIPI Head Number 5 (2014) concerning to the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications.

All parties (authors, editorial board, and peer reviewers) related to scientific publications at the SPICES (Social and Political) Journal must adhere to the publication ethics mentioned above.

The following is a summary of the Publication Ethics applied by the SPICES (Social and Political) Journal:
1. This ethical statement of scientific publication is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the process of publishing this scientific journal: editor, peer reviewer, and author;

2. Scientific Publication Ethics basically upholds the three ethical values in publications:
a. Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications;
b. Justice, which is granting authorship rights to those entitled as authors; and
c. Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
