Publication Fee

New Policy Notice: Visualita Journal Publication Fee Adjustment Starting in 2026 (SINTA 3)

In connection with efforts to improve the quality of journal management, publication services, and maintain accreditation standards, the Visualita Journal Editorial Team announces an adjustment to the publication fee (Author Fee) scheme, which will be effective starting with the 2026 publication period.

This step follows up on the Circular Letter of the Rector of the Indonesian Computer University Number: 10481/SR/REKTOR/UNIKOM/X/2025. As a SINTA 3-accredited journal, Visualita Journal is committed to continuing to produce high-quality scientific works in the fields of design and visual communication.

Fee Details
Starting in 2026, every published article will be subject to an administration fee, classified as follows:

External Authors (Non-UNIKOM): Lecturers, students, practitioners, and general researchers from outside UNIKOM will be charged a fee of Rp1,500,000.

UNIKOM Students: As a form of support for internal student research, a special fee of Rp700,000 will be charged.

Payment can be made through

BNI Bank – 1944374578 in the name of DIREKTORAT JURNAL DAN PUBLIKASI ILMIAH

Payment and Administration Mechanism
We uphold transparency in the administration process. Therefore, invoices will only be sent to authors after the article has been accepted based on the recommendation of the review team. As a final administrative requirement, an official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will be issued immediately after the author confirms payment.

Fast-Track Service
Understanding authors' need for more efficient publication times, Visualita Journal is offering a Fast-Track program. Given the stringent selection process, we are limiting this quota to one article per issue. Authors who choose this program will be charged double the normal rate, in exchange for a faster review process and guaranteed publication schedule. Authors who wish to participate can contact the Visualita Journal Editorial Team.

Article Withdrawal Policy
Authors need to note that any withdrawal of a published article, whether for technical or personal reasons, is non-refundable. Publication fees are non-refundable.

This policy is part of Visualita Journal's transformation into a more professional and sustainable publication platform. We urge all prospective authors to carefully review these provisions before submitting. If an author has already submitted an article that is subject to withdrawal under this new policy, they can contact our editorial team for further action.

Thank you for your contribution and trust in growing with Visualita Journal.
