Abstract

Today the use of robots have been widely used in various fields both in industry and in everyday life. One application of robots that can be used in everyday life is a robot maid which can serve food and beverages. This robot will be very useful for people with physical disabilities or as a waiter in a restaurant. This paperwill describe the design of a prototype robot to help people with physical disabilities which can serve food. Robot moves automatically without the help of remote control. The robot then included in the match held by an institution quadriplegic in Connecticut USA in collaboration with Trinity College as the organizer of the match. From the prototype robot to help people with physical disabilites is expected to be made a robot that is more real.
