Abstract

Today, YouTube is one of the most popular and widely viewed global video platforms. The platform contains a huge number of videos of varying lengths and categories. Studying user behavior based on these categories, considering geographic regions, can provide many insights for video creators. This study examines the popularity of YouTube videos in four countries: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, in addition to the United States, a country with a distinct culture and diverse interests. The required data was collected over a 30-day period using the YouTube Data API. This gathered data includes many important features, such as video titles, video views, video likes, and video comments. After analyzing data, results shows many differences in user engagement, content types, and engagement patterns with the platform, providing valuable insights for content creators, marketers, and researchers who interested in regional digital user behavior.
