Abstract

This study looks at how DevOps can improve efficiency and encourage innovation in government organizations. DevOps is a method that brings together development and operations teams, focusing on collaboration, automation, and better communication. While it is widely used in private companies, its use in government organizations is still not common and needs more attention. Furthermore, explores the benefits and challenges of using DevOps in the public sector, especially in Saudi Arabia, where Vision 2030 highlights the importance of digital transformation. Data was gathered through surveys, interviews, and case studies involving government organizations and experts. The findings show that DevOps helps improve efficiency, speeds up service delivery, and increases innovation. However, issues like resistance to change and a lack of technical skills remain challenges. The study suggests that with proper training, careful planning, and working with private sector experts, DevOps can help government organizations modernize their services and achieve their goals.
