XYZ is a manufacturer of fiber optic cables in Indonesia. This company is known as a premium manufacturer with high-quality products and has expertise in producing various variants of fiber optic cables. Currently, optical cable is a vital material supporting infrastructure development in Indonesia, especially in the field of telecommunications networks, which contributes to Indonesia's SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in the social pillars (quality education) and economic pillars (industry, innovation, and infrastructure). Pekerjaan di bidang pertanian merupakan pekerjaan yang menuntut banyak kegiatan fisik pekerja. Evaluasi pada pekerja kelapa sawit menunjukan tingginya risiko MSDs. Banyaknya potensi risiko gangguan musculoskelatal (MSDs) pada pekerja pertanian kelapa sawit maka tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengevaluasi lebih lanjut risiko MSDs dan melakukan perancangan alat yang dapat digunakan pekerja kelapa sawit untuk mengurangai risiko tersebut. Evaluasi menggunakan Quick Exposure Check (QEC) menunjukan bahwa pekerja panen dengan kegiatan mengumpulkan TBS (tandan buah segar) ke TPHS (tempat penampungan hasil sementara) memiliki skor QEC yang paling tinggi dibandingkan jenis pekerjaan lainnya yaitu sebesar 72%. From December </em>2022 –<em> February </em>2023,<em> the </em>BS-12<em> footwear model experienced many product rejects. The high percentage of rejected products raises quality costs for rework activities. Identification of the type of rejection and the rework process is needed to determine the rework costs incurred by the company. Analysis of quality costs due to the rework process was carried out using the Process Costing method while identifying the factors causing the occurrence of rejected products using Why-</em><em>w</em><em>hy Analysis. The results of the analysis showed that there were 6 types of damage, namely straps </em>(<em>mouldy, abrasions, broken seams</em>)<em>, insole </em>(<em>mouldy, abrasions, broken seams</em>)<em>, excess glue, less sticky insole and outsole, loose straps </em>&amp;<em> slippery sole. The quality costs incurred by the company during December </em>2022<em> – February </em>2023<em> amount to </em>IDR 16,250,104.<em> Products were rejected for multiple reasons, including inadequate facilities and equipment, operators working from home, and a staff shortage to meet production demands. There is a warranty, products that are defective before the warranty period expires will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer. From the consumer's perspective, a warranty serves as a guarantee of protection against a product failing or not performing as expected and also as a provider of information about the quality of the product. From the manufacturer's perspective, warranties provide benefits by protecting the manufacturer from excessive consumer complaints. This study aims to determine the estimated warranty costs for “X” brand truck products sold by PT ABC using the best time scale method. The policy implemented by the company is a two-way warranty policy, specifically a warranty policy for automobile products for a period of 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. The purpose of this study is to perform estimates for branded heavy goods vehicles. The estimated parameters of the truck damage model were obtained using the maximum likelihood method. With the Golden Section algorithm, the resulting parameter is </em><em>∈</em><em>0</em><em> = 0.35125 with a minimum variance coefficient obtained of 0.7427391 and a guarantee limit at L= 5.4588. The K distribution of the best fitting time scale is an exponential distribution with parameter λ = 0.964902.
