Tradisi Bu’a Oring: Alternatif Penanganan Stunting Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Di Kabupaten Flores Timur

This article talks about local wisdom in dealing with stunting in East Flores Regency. The goal is to explore and discover wisdom and values of local Bu’a Oring tradition of Lamaholot indigenous community in supporting sustainable efforts when dealing with stunting in East Flores Regency. The study applied qualitative method with descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were through interviews, observation and documentation. Collected data were analyzed through series process of data reducing, data presenting and conclusion drawing. The research founded that government’s effort in reducing stunting prevalence through focused PMT program called Gerobak Cinta faced serious challenges related to sustainability aspect. Therefore, the Bu’a Oring tradition can act as an alternative in sustainably stunting management. The values of mutual cooperation, togetherness, commitment and deliberation of Bu’a Oring tradition should be internalized to support the continuation of independent stunting handling by the community, even without government intervention. Since the tradition itself is a part of the local culture and wisdom which has been embedded in local community’s way of life and still carried out up until now.

This study aims to assess the implementation of e-government through the Next Generation Social Welfare Information System (SIKS-NG) for processing poverty data in South Bengkulu Regency. Researchers used a descriptive, qualitative approach. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis, using Support, Capacity, and Value criteria, reveals positive aspects in Support, including support, human resources allocation, and socialization by the Social Service Office of South Bengkulu District. However, issues persist in these areas. Capacity falls short in financial and technological resources, and IT expertise. Value shows benefits in accessing social assistance information. Still, many impoverished individuals remain unregistered, indicating room for improvement.

Gender disparity within the political sphere continues to persist. Therefore, the effective implementation of a law regarding the representation of women at a rate of 30% is necessary. The Gerindra’s woman under bow, PIRA (Perempuan Indonesia Raya), serves as a platform for women to enter the political arena and act as representatives of society. Based on this premise, the researcher conducted a study on the political marketing strategies employed by the PIRA to meet the 30% affirmative action quota in the upcoming 2024 general elections. The objective of this research is to determine the extent to which the PIRA achieves 30% female representation in politics. This study adopts a qualitative methodology with a narrative approach. The primary research subjects include party representatives, PIRA members, and PIRA representatives, selected through purposive sampling techniques. The research findings indicate that the Gerindra Party, through the PIRA, employs approaches such as online and offline media engagement, community service, and the influential presence of Prabowo as a means to garner significant support in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Kepuasan Masyarakat terhadap Layanan Pemerintah dalam Menurunkan Prevalensi Penyakit Hep-B pada Anak Usia 0-12 Tahun di Indonesia

This research taken from a substantial and urgent need for the Indonesian especially for children under 0-12 years in Indonesia who still has limit knowledge about Hep-B prevalence. The government has work harder to give health education and awareness in reducing the prevalence of hep-B disease for children 0-12 years in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see how good the communication strategy is conducted by government of Indonesia and how about the public satisfaction about its services. This study used quantitative method by using an observative, documentative and questionnaire for 220 respondents from several districts in Indonesia as the tools of collecting data. This research concluded that: (a) public services in terms of health education and awareness campaigns in reducing the prevalence of hep-B in children aged 0-12 years was good and satisfying, b) the factors that most influence in increase in the prevalence of Hep-B in children aged 0-12 years are mother-to-child transmission: can occur during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding and is a common mode of transmission in areas with high prevalence of hep-B and lack of screening, c). what the government can do as a public service in reducing the prevalence of Hep-B in children aged 0-12 years in Indonesia is health education and awareness of hep-B campaign by several ways, such as school-based education, community-based education, mass media campaign, and health worker education.

Optimalisasi Otonomi Desa Dalam Peningkatan Perekonomian Masyarakat Melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa Bejijong Kabupaten Mojokerto

This study to analyze the village autonomy optimalization in improving the community's economy through BUMDes. Based on the policy of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning villages, it aims to build Indonesia from the village having the motive of economic decentralization through the distribution of village authority to regulate and develop village potential, to achieve that goal the village government is given the authority to manage village economic resources through the establishment of BUMDes which is regulated in article 87 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. The implementation of this policy has been implemented since 8 years ago, until 2022 the distribution of independent villages is at 8.45%. This shows that village autonomy is still not able to optimally increase village independence, one of the causes of the small percentage of independent villages, namely the inability of villages to optimize BUMDes as a tool for driving the community's economy. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of village autonomy still needs to be improved and in the management of BUMDes it still has not improved the economy of the Bejijong Village community. The recommendation of this research is to revitalize village institutions, especially the BUMDes Wijaya Bejijong Institution and improve the management of BUMDes through collaboration with various stakeholders and the community in optimizing village autonomy.

Restorative Diversion of Children in Conflict with the Law in Yogyakarta: An Analysis of Democracy, Trust, Citizenship

Children are a vulnerable group with the potential to face the law. Children who conflict with the law then experience multiple levels of vulnerability due to their inability to develop themselves without restrictions and stigmatization from society. Globally, children in conflict with the law have been instructed to get the opportunity for restorative justice, namely justice intended to protect the interests of children. Indonesia has also established restorative justice through a diversion policy scheme. However, to date, this diversion policy has yet to be fully implemented due to a lack of legitimacy from the community and a lack of operational resources. Therefore, researchers feel that research on this issue is essential because of its significant impact on legal reform objectives in Indonesia. This research used the perspective of democracy, trust, and citizenship to accommodate participatory values and obligations in restorative practices. Qualitative methods using critical informant interview data were used in this research. The results are that restorative justice and restorative policies can accommodate democratic practices. However, for their implementation to be more optimal, there needs to be an increase in trust and civic awareness.
